| The first floor of the villas is set into the ground. The
raised platform type floor, with concrete slab on the bottom
and pre-cast planks above, provides protection from moisture.
The sump pumps also remove any water that may seep into the
below floor cavity. |

do not leak. |

| Each villa is built with double brick walls from the ground
to the roof. This type of wall has a cavity between the two
layers of bricks, which prevents moisture seeping into the home
and provides insulation against cold and heat. Below ground
level the walls are constructed from reinforced concrete. |
